"I Dream A World," by Langton Hughes
Moral boundaries and racial boundaries are found in this poem. The rhyme scheme is abcb. Repetition is used to emphasise the persona's dream.
"I dream a world....A world i dream....I dream a world....
Of such i dream, my world"
The persona writes in a personal style yet the tone is hopeful and optimistic. A simile is also used.
"Where wretchedness will hang its head,
And joy like a pearl"
By Breanna Considine
