"I Dream A World" by Langton Hughes

The Poem "i Dream A World," by Langton Hughes illuminates the use of moral and racial boundaries. The tone of the poem is hopeful and the style is subjective and personal. This poem is about a man who dreams a world peace, love, bleesings and freedom.

"Where love will bless the earth ans peace its path down"

The persona dreams a perfect world with no boundaries. this is made clear by repition. Langton also makes use of a simile, and rhyme scheme.

"And joy, like a pearl."
