"Mending Wall" By Robert Frost

The poem "Mending Wall" by Robert Frost explores the mental and physical boundaries between the men. The persona speaks in a sarcastic tone, suggesting that a wall is not needed.

"Before I'd built a wall I'd ask to know what I was walling in or walling out."

There are several excellent forms of language tachniques used in this poem, such as pathetic fallacy, similies, exaggeration and visual imager. The pathetic fallacy is suggesting that the speakers feelings are somehow connected to nature.
